The Art is Not Something You Apply to Your Work
The Art is the Way You Do Your Work, a Result of Your Attitude Toward It

Brammo, Talent
The overall project consisted of adaptive Re-Use of the former Wal-Mart retail facility in Talent, Oregon. The challenge was to re-purpose the facility for the design and manufacture of Electric Motorcycles and Lithium-Ion Batteries. The project was divided into various phases to suit the growth of the company.
The portion of the overall project illustrated shows the future Design and Engineering Departments for Brammo, Inc. The Architect’s approach to this challenge was to create a stimulating interior space, while re-using existing Client furnishings.
To accomplish this, the rectilinear forms of the walls are varied, using a sculptural and somewhat “Mondrian-esque” approach to the use of color. Color, value, and form are utilized to create illusions of depth and to stimulate the designers’ creativity.
Interior walls are both full and partial height, with openings provided, in order to facilitate communications among team members, while providing some measure of visual privacy.
